Mango Man is dedicating an area in stores for garment embroidering and alterations.
The influential graffiti artist André Saraiva is bringing his art to the designs of Mango Man.The artist, the author of the iconic drawings of the 90s, Mr.A, has created a collection inspired by this enigmatic and free-spirited character, known as his alter ego.The designs reflect his personal universe through other concepts such as ‘Love Graffiti’ or his distinctive pink.
The limited edition collection is made up of t-shirts and sweatshirts, as well as a series of patches and embroidered designs which customers can choose to customise their garments.The embroidery service will be available at selected stores in Spain from 3 December and shortly on the company website, mango.com in Spain, United Kingdom, Holland, Portugal and Italy.
After the launch of the collection, André Saraiva will take part in a public event in Madrid, where he will customise garments in person to those present.The event will take place in the store in C/ Preciados, 8 from 19.00 to 20.00.
The initiative to customise the André for Mango collection with embroideries is being extended to other Mango Man designs.The firm is commencing a new project and adding a new area in selected stores for garment alterations and embroidering initials and icons on purchased garments.This option is available in ten stores in Spain in the cities of Barcelona, Madrid, Malaga, San Sebastian, Seville and Valencia.
